Families never pay to use the Guide. Keeping it current and independent has a real cost, so the Guide is supported by a broad group of foundations, civic organizations, employers, and individual Nashvillians — structured so that no supporter can shape what you see.

Many supporters, none dominant. No single supporter gives more than $5,000 a year, so no one organization can become the voice behind the Guide.

Balanced by design. We limit how much support can come from organizations tied to any one type of school, so the funding mix never tilts toward one side of the choices families are weighing.

Support never buys influence. No supporter — at any level — has any say over which schools are listed, how they're described, or our decision not to rank schools. Editorial decisions are ours alone.

No ads, no lead fees. We don't sell advertising, take payment to feature a school, or charge families a cent.
